Great food. Great service. Definitely worth the wait.

It was really good! If you're vegetarian, then this is the place to go in Auburn for breakfast. They go out of their way to ensure there are plenty of options for those who don't eat meat. Staff is friendly and food comes up fairly quickly.

Great menu, great family vibe, lots of extra effort in making things in house, right down to their own corned beef on the Reuben. Vegetarian and vegan options are prevalent, any burger can be made with one of those state-of-the-art, just-like-beef vegan patties. This place is legit, a really great find.

The food is always amazing and the staff always makes us feel like family. Even my mom insists on stopping in when she’s up from SoCal! 👍🏼👍🏼

Beautiful, Wizard of Oz themed cafe. The owner and staff are upbeat and friendly. They made these tired, hungry Bay Area travelers feel right at home. The food is simple and delicious. It tasted home cooked with care and well deserved pride. The service is excellent and the prices very reasonable. I recommend this Cafe to everyone.

Toast and bacon overcooked on my BLT. My friend ordered fried chicken not knowing It would be covered in gravy. (They didn't charge her) French fries cold. My other friend had Cobb salad and loved it!

SOLID Breakfast/Brunch spot. If you like spicy sauces you HAVE to try the Fire Nine sauce. It tastes AMAZING on anything, it gives a nice creamy kick to whatever you put on it. Try it when you're there, and get a couple bottles for home.

This little place just blew me away! Probably the best cheese fries I've ever had. Fresh homemade biscuits with homemade jam. I'm surprised there's not a line out the door. A place like this in Brooklyn would routinely have 1hr waits

This was my second visit to Nancy’s and it didn’t disappoint! There were more of us this time with two young children and we were warmly welcomed. Our food came in a more than reasonable time and was just as delicious this time as it was four months ago! Nancy’s is unanimously our new go-to breakfast and lunch place on our way up the hill! Thanks for the marvelous food and the great service!

Nancy seems quite incredible, very welcoming! Waiter service could have been better. Food could have been better. We may give it a try again on a not so busy day.

Small and cozy place. I was surprised by the variety of menu items. Super friendly service, clean environment and fast service. I had the cornbeef hash with over easy eggs and country potatoes with a side of gravy of course. When looking for this place you'll only see the word Restaurant in the top of the building, lol I almost missed it.

Great service and delicious food! Saving this place for our next trip to Tahoe! It is a good halfway stop for those living in San Francisco.

Omg the customer service really good and is attended by the Owner Nancy food exceptional and FIRE NINE Sauce the best it goes well with everything. I really recommend if you are traveling to Sac is literally 1 minute off the I 80

Had the most Amazing Grilled Cheese ever this afternoon! Staff was friendly and everything was delicious...definately a hidden restaurant gem & highly recommended! Oh and A++ for plate presentation!

Delicious and affordable breakfast/lunch cafe ticked into a shopping plaza just off I-80. Retro old-school feel, with open seating. I had the breakfast tacos and my girlfriend had the "Mess" which was hearty! Lovely atmosphere, good service, and a hilarious waitress sealed the deal. Will definitely eat here again in Auburn!

First place I’ve found that doesn’t charge extra for a Beyond Burger - this is one of the reasons I keep coming back. The side salads are big & are often topped with these amazing pickled (I think) red onions. Their pickles are great too. Lots of yummy vegetarian options. No soup to be found on the menu - given this place’s creative culinarily creations, I’d love to see what kind of soup they could come up with. If they were open for dinner I’d be able to come more often.

The fried bacon was killer. Quick food even when they are busy! So delicious. Great local restaurant. Hillbilly was A++

Amazing! We'll definitely be back. I got 'the mess', my husband got the chorizo cheddar scramble. We also got a side of country fried bacon with gravy. It was out of this world. The owner and staff are super nice and the decor is lovely. They have some very cool art pieces for sale in the walls. Loved the whole experience and the food was fantastic!

Great place for breakfast or lunch! Skip the chains. Love their homemade hot sauce too.

Found this place while meeting up with a friend. Walking in it smells like Heaven. Waitress was super nice and made suggestions of popular menu items. We had burgers, a breakfast one and a grilled onion one. They both had chicken fried BACON on them. Amazing!! The burgers were hand packed and juicy, full of flavorful. When in the Auburn area this is a must.

My first time eating at Nancy!s. I was shocked and very pleasantly surprised at the super quality of the food and the plate’s presentation and attentive and friendly service. The menu was creative and great for breakfast! I’m definitely coming back. Wow and yum yum!!

Discovered this little gem yesterday with my husband and daughter and not only will we be back but I’m telling my family and friends about Nancy’s. Nancy is so welcoming and fun and made us feel at home the minute we walked in. She even shared her birthday cupcakes with us. The food was fantastic—tasty, attractively presented, and nice-sized portions. The cold fresh-squeezed lemonade and orange juice and even the fountain Coke really hit the spot. The sausage patty was so tasty we all had to try a bite and then another one. The delicious French toast was fluffy and slightly crispy. My tuna sandwich on marble rye was the best. The Wizard of Oz decor is charming...the background music was just my style...I could go on and on. Trust me, you will be glad you went.

Everyone is nice. Waffles were not that great, a pattie was over cooked (burnt). The experience was not bad at all. The food just wasn't that great.

This place is a treasure! Great variety on the menu, everything was fresh and tasty. Excited to come back and try more. Bonus points for good music and beautiful local art on the walls. Very friendly service too.

Lovely little place in downtown Auburn. Tucked away. You need to go to this wonderful little diner. Large portions and a fair price. Also the servers were very friendly and genuine. Check out Nancy's if you get the opportunity. Look for the yellow "restaurant" sign.

While passing thru from Reno back to Oakland, we found this little cafe in Auburn. Awesome service, so friendly. Our breakfast was on point, we ordered the chicken sausage omelette with their house potatoes and biscuit. Biscuit was heavenly along side with their homemade jelly and freshly squeezed OJ. Portion was more than I could finish, and worth every penny. Very country/chic atmosphere. Looking forward to making a trip back with the family 🤙

Delicious and quirky breakfast/lunch spot. The menu makes it easy for vegetarians and vegans alike to find something for their diet. I'm GF and had no problem finding something I could enjoy. My kids devoured the chocolate chip pancakes and my husband enjoyed his meaty breakfast platter while stating he had found his new favorite local breakfast spot. The place is a bit obscure as it is only referred to as "RESTAURANT " on the building. Nancy is an amazing server/busser/cashier....she does it all efficiently in a full house all while maintaining a sense of humor.

This place could be so much better like Katrina's in Auburn if they just used better ingredients. They use what tastes like margarine on bread cook the potatoes in cheap oil. Go back to basic folks some people have taste buds. Sure your product cost will go up a bit bit so will your numbers of customers. There is a reason Katrina's has a line outside

It's become one of our favorite breakfast places.BEST biscuits and gravy in town.And we enjoyed a nice lunch today. The falafel burger was delicious.

Love the food. You have a choice to order half portions on the menu. Also if you want to share an item with someone let them know. The cook will spilt it for you. My favorite is the veggie omelet, half order of course. There is a senior and kids menu on the back. Or just order a half portion like me. 😄

Amazing place. We were on our way to Tahoe and looked for breakfast. Super fresh and delicious food, warm staff and incredible apricot jam on the table!
